Investigating the genetic predisposition for expansion of blood cell clones and blood cancers

.

About the lab

Our laboratory is interested in understanding why certain individuals are at high risk of getting blood cancers. We use approaches at the interface of human genetics, stem cell biology and gene regulation to address this question. Our studies aim to identify the genes and mechanisms underlying blood cancer risk and ultimately contribute to our understanding of how blood forming stem cells acquire leukemogenic mutations.
